TSA agents seize gun at Pittsburgh International Airport

TSA agents at Pittsburgh International Airport seized a gun on Saturday.

Allegheny County Police said a gun was found in a 49-year-old woman’s purse at a security checkpoint.

Officers said the woman had a concealed carrying license. The woman was allowed to fly after members of the FBI were warned.

The weapon was kept by the police.

No charges are expected against the woman at this time.

Anyone who brings a firearm to an airport checkpoint can be fined up to $10,000.
