Flammable devices hurled at migrant center in Dover

Kent Police were called to The Viaduct at 11:22 a.m. Sunday, where two to three incendiary bombs had set fire.

A minor injury was reported and the suspect has been identified and located.

Police could not confirm the suspect’s death and said the investigation is ongoing.

The incident took place after nearly 1,000 migrants arrived in the UK after crossing the Channel on Saturday.

A spokesman for the Home Office said: “We are aware of an incident in Western Jet Foil, Dover, and the police are on site.

“It would not be appropriate to comment further at this stage.”

Kent Fire and Rescue Service confirmed that the crews had extinguished fires.

Nathalie Elphicke, the Conservative MP for Dover, said she was “deeply shocked”.
