Feb 25 polls: Vote for candidates capable of bringing succour to Nigerians’

With just a few hours to the Presidential and National Assembly elections, the wife of a former governor of Oyo state, High Chief Rashidi Ladoja, Chief (Mrs.) Mutiat Ladoja, has charged Nigerians to vote for candidates that were capable of bringing succour and a smile to their faces.
Speaking with journalists in Ibadan on Friday, she said the advice became necessary “in view of the fact that the country presently needs a leader capable of moving the country out of its situation and make the system work and change the country for better.”
She emphasised that there was no need to fight and cause violence during the elections, but to pray to God to give the country a good leader that would address its challenges.
“I don’t want to say Nigerians or Oyo state people should vote for this presidential candidate or not vote for this presidential candidate. I want us to pray and vote for whoever that will put a smile, succor on the faces of the masses, that is what I stand for. If it is Atiku, Tinubu or Obi that will bring us out of this current problem in the country, let us vote for someone who is capable,” she said.
