There is perhaps no player in the world right now that gets as mercilessly mocked as Manchester United captain Harry Maguire.
The 30-year-old centre-half moved to Old Trafford back in 2019, having shone for England and previous club Leicester, for a world-record fee for a centre-back. He’s had his moments at Manchester United but struggled to justify the weighty price tag and lost his place in Erik ten Hag’s first-choice XI.
“What people are doing to him, it is a disaster,” former United midfielder Matic told The Times earlier this season.
