Two chieftains of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Sunday Obisesan and Otunba Mustapha Lusty have described President Bola Tinubu as “the finest symbol of sacrifice, devotion, patriotism, and fidelity to the national cause.”Obisesan, felicitating with the President as he turned 72 today, said that Tinubu remains an icon of truth, justice, and patriotism.
“I extol the peerless leadership credentials and feats of our dear president, his meritorious service to the nation at various times as former governor of Lagos State and as president. Tinubu has an unparalleled record of financial expertise, comprising his success in the private sector, which prepared him to be a great leader in politics,” he said.
In the same vein, Lusty, described Tinubu as a patriot and nationalist.Lusty said Tinubu had done so much in shaping the nation’s history and made sacrifices to ensure the survival and unity of the country. He said that the doggedness and resolve of Tinubu in nation-building were crucial to its stability and development in trying times.
Obisesan further said that Tinubu was from the rarest phylum of virtuous servant-leaders, who has devoted his life to the service of the nation.
“The emergence of leaders like Tinubu happens only by divine orchestration. He is a man of absolute and undiluted integrity,” he added. Wishing the president longevity and strength, Obisesan assured Nigerians that the hope of a prosperous, peaceful, and progressive Nigeria, which he has always worked for, will not be in vain.
On his part, Lusty stressed that the policies and programmes of the president were gaining momentum, expressing confidence that things will soon take shape with more patience from Nigerians.
“His expertise in governance, diplomacy and public service has remained a beacon of hope and a source of inspiration for generations to come.
“Congratulations to a living legend. Your decades of sacrifices, selfless acts of bravery and courage have made you a reference point in Nigeria. No doubt your exemplary leadership qualities are worthy of emulation,” he said.
Lusty prayed to God for good health for the president. “May Allah grant him good health and strength to continue to provide wise counsel and advice for the growth and development of the country,” he said
