DFA provides customized jerseys to finalists ahead FA Cup finals

The four finalists in this year Delta State FA Cup have been equipped with Customized Jerseys for tomorrow match holding at Steven Keshi Stadium in Asaba.

The four finalists include Warri Wolves FC and Delta Marines FC for the males, while the female clubs are Delta Queens FC of Asaba and Delta Babes of Warri. They are to showcase their strength of women’s football in the state.

Sunday showdown will commence at 1.00pm with Delta Queens facing Delta Babes. It will be followed by Warri Wolves locking horns with Delta Marines FC at 4 pm. The winners will pocket a prize money of N1.5 million.

Addressing the teams while presenting the jersey, Chairman of the Competition Committee of the DFA, Steve Cole, thanked the State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori for his commitment to sports development.

He also thanked all the participating teams for their dedication and passion for the sport. Chairman of the Delta State Football Association, Ken Nwamuocha, urged the competition committee to maintain the high standard and ensure that the final on Sunday, at the Stephen Keshi Stadium live a lasting impression on all Deltans.

He commended the conduct of the clubs and their officials during this year’s state FA Cup playoffs. Nwamuocha expressed gratitude to sponsors, including Uche-Peg Enterprise, Rock of All Ages Group of Schools, and Joeprecious Enterprises for their unwavering support and trust in the Delta FA. He called on Deltans from all walks of life to come out in large numbers to watch and support this year’s finalists.
